Dawson Leery - James Van Der Beek



James Van Der Beek:
D.O.B: March the 8th 1977
Birth Place: Connecicut

When James was 13, he was not premitted to play in the football team due to an injury. So he decided to try out for a school play. Which then led to him landing his first role; Danny Zuko in the school's production of "Grease."

His first on-screen performance came in the 1995 feature film "Angus." He has also completed a independent feature film named "Harvest."

James has received a scholarship from Drew University in Madison, N.J., where he majors in English. In his free time he enjoys writing and playing all kinds of sports.


About Dawson:

• Mother: Gale - news anchor who had an affair with Bob her co-anchor resulting in divorce
• Father: Mitch - doesn't do much, now teaches at Capeside High
• Once turned up totally drunk to his surprise party
• He is very sensitive
• Thinks things over too much
